finals

I have a to-do list to last me until the end of finals.
Currently, I'm at work.. with access to a computer to write some of one of my final papers... but I'm blogging.
I don't blog in about a month and the one time I really don't have the time, I DO IT?!

I don't understand myself sometimes... however, this procrastination must come to an end.

Slacking...

Sorry about the lack of post yesterday...
I had a good day of classes, but I was feeling rather sick. Throat sick. icky.
For breakfast I had a blueberry bagel and cream cheese.
Lunch was about half a Turkey Tom from Jimmy John's.
At home for dinner, I had two chicken strips that were leftover from Wingstop that I had with Zach the night before.
Later, I got hungry again, but my throat still hurt, so I made some cinnamon-sugar noodles. The best sick food everrrrr.

Today I had a nonfat chocolate milk and a taquito from QT before school.
During my first class, I had a red bull.
After my second class, I got a large coffee and a muffin from Einstein's. I put less sugar in the coffee than i normally do and felt proud of myself, hehe.
During my third class, I drank a vitamin water.
Now, I am at work... A gal I work with made these homemade pizza rolls that are super delicious and so much better for you than any frozen kind. That will be my diner =]

Now, I am going to actually do work and hopefully accomplish some research for my ethnography... I have been slacking... and not just in the blog world. I am not behind in actual work, but I really need to get a jump-start on research or I know I will fall behind.

On this Sunday

Today I woke up at a reasonable time.
I immediately got up and went to the car wash and cleaned out my vehicle. I got all of the trash out and vacuumed the carpet and seats. Now I just need to take the clothes in my car to Goodwill to donate... then it will be clean!
On the way to the car washing place, I stopped by a convenient store and got a raspberry nutrigrain bar and a Peach/Orange Sunny Delight.
I went home and took my dog, Beatrix, to the dog park-- Wiggley Field! How cute is that?!?! We spent about an hour there, then went home.
For lunch I had a Smart Ones Swedish meatball meal with some wheat bread, buttered.
At work, I had a snack of Gardettos and a Snapple diet peach tea-- yum!
Who knows what will happen for dinner!

I meant to wake up earlier than I did today because I wanted to go to church. I went to church fairly regularly for a couple of years. I am not necessarily in the same place religiously as then, but I remember the way I felt during service, and think that it would be nice to have that every once in a while now. i don't feel like it is mandatory to go to church to be close to God; i am close to God every day I live. Nevertheless, sometimes He escapes me in my day-to-day living. I want to change that. Not to an extreme, maybe just church every so often. And remembering to be happy... because I am so lucky to live such a privileged life.

ideas

I am trying to figure out what I want to do with this blog... I will keep updating my food intake, but I feel the need to write more personal stuff here, too. My feelings. My desires. Deep thoughts, etc. I will figure it out... When I am less tired and more open to the idea of sharing.

Oooooooh man

Last night for dinner, I met my boyfriend Zach at a diner and ate a turkey burger with cheese and some fries.

I neeeeeed to stop sleepign so much... Today I woke up reeeeeeeeally late and had to get a late lunch at quiznos (a small turkey sandwich and an izze) before work.

At work I had some almonds and some sun chips.

Now I am eating a late meal of Del Taco... consisting of two chicken tacos and a small fry.

not the healthiest, but not the worst =p

As far as life goes, I am stressed, but am managing. I have a wonderful support system of Zach, who is the most spectacular guy, friends, and family.

more foods

For breakfast I had a banana and half a bottle of orange/peach Sunny Delight.

For lunch I went to IHOP with a friend and had two cup of coffee, two pancakes and an omelet.
The pancakes were 160 calories and the omelet was 330 calories.

Dinner has yet to come!

Today I woke up rather late... So I was unable to have a breakfast.

For lunch I had a bologna sandwich on wheat bread with light mayo and mustard, a side of mac & cheese which is approx. 139 calories, and a roll, which was a splurge at 179 calories.
I also had a little bit of sweet tea.

For a snack, I had some cheese nips and a vitamin water.

For dinner I will probably swing by Wendy's for a spicy chicken sandwich or to taco cabana for some chicken tacos... probably the latter.

I am going to try and post regularly so that I stay on top of my eating schedule and try to lead a healthier life.
